The Land Forms of Southern Utah
The photographs in this collection were made between March 20 and March 26, 2007. The galleries are organized from west to east, beginning with Snow Canyon. St George, Utah, near Snow Canyon, was founded at the outbreak of the Civil War in 1861 as a cotton mission, under the direction of Brigham Young, the President of the Church of Jeasus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The galleries progress eastwardly through Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands and Arches, and then south to Lake Powell, the second largest man-made lake in the United States, and the site of Glen Canyon Dam. Also included is a gallery of photographs made in Upper Antelope Canyon, a slot canyon on the Navajo Nation outside of Page, Arizona.
